C²I² Systems (Pty) Ltd specialises in the development of advanced electronic systems and industrial automation. Due to expanding opportunities, the company seeks the services of the following staff for their offices in Kenilworth, Cape Town:
Reporting to the respective Project Leaders, the incumbent will be responsible for the integration, testing and installation of electronic and computer systems, specifically in the following areas :
- Wiring and Soldering
- Hardware Integration
- Software Installation and Testing
- System Installation and Testing
- Ordering and Control of Hardware and Electronics Components
Practical knowledge of computer hardware, software and networks will be a distinct advantage, as will some experience in a development environment. The incumbent should be team-orientated, yet be capable of working on his/her own without direct supervision. They must also be capable of working methodically with a high awareness of quality and configuration control. The incumbent must be prepared to travel and be on standby for equipment maintenance after hours. The incumbent will be a diplomate electronics technician. The ideal candidates should have a BTech with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
RTWW Technician

- Maintenance of the Real-Time WeatherWatch System (http://www.rtww.ccii.co.za)
- Supervising Production Facility
- PC Maintenance and Configuration
- Wiring and Soldering
- Hardware Integration
- Software Installation and Testing
- System Installation and Testing
- Ordering and Control of Hardware and Electronics Components
